WELCOME to Tacoma First Baptist Church’s English Language Ministries (‘ELM’) page. TFBC has six major ELM ministries. Each is designed to meet individual needs at the various stages of life.
1. The English Language Ministry:
This ministry is designed to grow strong believers, help them understand their unique gifting, and equip them to reach out in God’s love to a world that is lost and hurting.
Sunday services: 9:25am Morning Worship; 11:00am Bible Study
Wednesday service: 7:00pm in our Antioch sanctuary
2. The Uprising Ministry: Pastor Barry Smith
We offer worship times, small groups & fellowship for high school students 10th grade & up as well as college students & singles to connect to God, themselves & others.
Sunday Service: 11:00am in our Antioch sanctuary
Tuesday Small Group: 5:30pm in Antioch, O-17
3. The Crossover Ministry: Pastor Barry Smith
For students 7th-9th grade, an exclusive Sunday message & other services are offered to help them connect & grow spiritually.
Sunday Service: 9:30am Bible Study; 11:00am in our Antioch Sanctuary
Friday service: 7:00pm in our Antioch sanctuary
4. The Star Kids Ministry: Children’s Director, Janice Park

This ministry begins the walk of faith in our youngest members, by giving them a firm foundation to stand on: the Word of God.

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, is a ministry designed to strengthen the foundation established in our young children ages 3-12 in a fun, energetic and evangelical focused atmosphere.
Wednesdays at 6:45pm (during the school year)
6. PRAYER MEETINGS
This is just a time to get back to the old fashion prayer. Come and give your heart to God as you speak one on one with the LORD and let him know what is on your heart.
Last Friday of Every Month at 7pm to 9pm (child care provided) in the Bethlehem.
